Ideal Logic System IE fault L0D
Ignition lockout: blocked flue/condensate
Gas boilerWhat it means
Boiler has locked out on ignition failure attributed to blocked flue or condensate system.
Likely causes
- Blocked flue
- Blocked condensate pipe/trap
- Flue components not correctly assembled, fixed or supported
- Flue or flue terminal obstructed
- Displaced seals on flue extensions allowing combustion products and inlet air to mix
- Seals on flue extensions displaced during installation
- External wall seal dislodged if Mark 1 is not flush with inner wall surface and can be seen prior to the wall surface
Where to start
- Refer to Section 4.3: Ignition Lockout procedure
- Set boiler to maximum gas rate and allow combustion to stabilise (do not insert analyser probe during this period to avoid flooding sensor)
- Insert analyser probe into air inlet test point (where available) and allow readings to stabilise - flue integrity check

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
