1. About TradeAssistIQ
TradeAssistIQ is an AI-powered diagnostic assistant designed exclusively for qualified heating and plumbing engineers in Ireland. The service provides fault code lookup, diagnostic guidance and technical information to support engineers working on gas boilers, oil boilers, heat pumps, shower pumps and electric showers.
TradeAssistIQ is operated by TradeAssistIQ. By using this service you agree to these Terms of Service in full.
2. Who Can Use This Service
TradeAssistIQ is intended for use by qualified heating and plumbing professionals only, including RGI registered engineers, oil boiler engineers, heat pump installers, F-Gas certified engineers and other competent heating professionals.
This service is not intended for use by homeowners, tenants or members of the public to diagnose or repair their own heating systems. Gas and oil boiler work must only be carried out by appropriately registered engineers.
By using this service you confirm that you are a qualified heating or plumbing professional and that you hold the relevant competency certifications required for the work you are undertaking.
3. Subscription and Payment
TradeAssistIQ is a paid subscription service. Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise TradeAssistIQ to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Subscription pricing is displayed clearly at the point of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Founder beta pricing is locked for life for subscribers who joined during the beta period, provided the subscription remains active without lapsing.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of the period you have paid for.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error please contact us at info@tradeassistiq.ie within 14 days of the charge.
We reserve the right to cancel subscriptions that are found to be in breach of these terms.
5. Accuracy of Information
TradeAssistIQ uses AI and a database of manufacturer fault codes and technical data to provide diagnostic guidance. While we take care to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
Fault code meanings, diagnostic procedures and component specifications can vary between boiler models, production years and regional variants. Always verify critical information against the relevant manufacturer manual before carrying out any work.
TradeAssistIQ is a diagnostic support tool. It does not replace the professional judgement of a qualified engineer. All gas work must be carried out by a RGI registered engineer. All oil work must be carried out by a competent oil engineer. Refrigerant work requires F-Gas certification.
6. Limitation of Liability
TradeAssistIQ provides information for guidance purposes only. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from reliance on information provided by this service, including but not limited to incorrect diagnoses, incorrect part identification, or actions taken based on AI-generated guidance.
Engineers are responsible for their own professional judgement, competency and compliance with all relevant regulations including Gas Safety Regulations, Building Regulations and manufacturer installation requirements.
Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use TradeAssistIQ only for lawful professional purposes. You must not share your account credentials with others, attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, use the service to generate content for commercial resale, or use automated tools to access the service at scale.
Each subscription is for one individual engineer. Team or business subscriptions covering multiple users are available — contact us for pricing.
8. Data and Privacy
We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988-2018. Query data including the questions you ask and the manufacturers you search for may be used in anonymised form to improve the service and expand our fault code database.

9. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third party AI providers and database infrastructure which may experience occasional outages.
We will endeavour to notify subscribers of planned maintenance in advance. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material we will notify subscribers by email with 14 days notice. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
