Grant Aerona R290 fault E25

Current detection circuit failure

Heat pump

What it means

Failure detected in current detection circuit.

Likely causes

  1. Cables incorrectly connected
  2. Refrigerant & Drive PCB is faulty

Where to start

  1. Check all connections from the Refrigerant PCB (or Refrigerant & Drive PCB for the 16kW model)
  2. Set up barrier at least 1m around heat pump restricting access to authorised personnel only
  3. Check heat pump and safe working area with appropriate refrigerant detector prior to and during work, suitable for flammable refrigerants and capable of detecting R290
