Grant Aerona R290 fault P14
Refrigerant leakage fault
Heat pumpWhat it means
Refrigerant leakage fault detected due to leak in refrigerant circuit, faulty leakage sensor, or faulty hydraulic PCB.
Likely causes
- Leak in refrigerant circuit
- Refrigerant leakage sensor failure
- Hydraulic PCB is faulty
Where to start
- Check whether there is leakage in refrigerant circuit
- Check whether refrigerant leakage sensor is normal
- Check whether Hydraulic PCB is faulty

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
